Daley's property tax relief bill passes Illinois House; Houlihan praises passage of Senate Bill 2112

The passage of a property tax relief bill, sponsored by House Speaker Michael J. Madigan and State Sen. James DeLeo, received tons of praise from Mayor Richard Daley and Cook County Assessor James M. Houlihan. Senate Bill 2112 now moves to the Senate for a concurrent vote.

"If this legislation becomes law in the current session of the General Assembly, Daley said, "Chicago homeowners will receive significant relief on this fall's property tax bills.
